Let's Daydream

Hello beautiful Reader -

Last week’s episode, The Princess, the Pea and Your Sensitive Self, featured my guest Natalie Cordell, a psycho-spiritual coach and author of "Awaken in the Sleeping Queen."

When I saw her profile on Linked In and the name of her book, I knew we’d have a great conversation!

Natalie shares her journey from corporate pharmaceuticals to self-leadership coaching, inspired by a health scare.

She discusses the impact of sensitivity, drawing parallels with Sleeping Beauty, the Princess and the Pea, and the importance of sensitive self-care and mindfulness.

We discussed the value for highly sensitive women to reconnect with their true selves and the world, and advocate for practices like journaling, meditation, and self-compassion.

Here’s one of my favorite quotes from our conversation:

Others were seeing the outside, the armor, the protection, and they weren't seeing what was inside my heart, which was this deep longing to connect and to be with people.
— Nathalie Cordell

And of course, we highlight the significance of community and support for sensitive women.
